Perry Evans, PhD

Perry joined CBMi's genome analysis and bioinformatics group as a Bioinformatics Scientist in 2013 after finishing a postdoctoral fellowship at Yale University. He received his PhD in Genomics and Computational Biology from the University of Pennsylvania. His postdoctoral work focused on detecting cancer driver genes using melanoma whole exome sequences. In his graduate work, he studied the role of sequence motifs in guiding host pathogen protein interactions.
