Malin Presentation on De-Identified Clinical Warehouse Available on CBMi YouTube

Vanderbilt's Dr. Bradley Malin's "How to Build a De-identified Clinical Data Warehouse" was one of the most highly attended presentations in the CBMi Speaker Series in December, 2012. See him on CBMi's YouTube channel – http://www.youtube.com/user/chopcbmi1 along with other interesting CBMi educational presentations.

Dr. Malin is the founder and current director of the Health Information Privacy Laboratory (HIPLab), an interdisciplinary endeavor that was established to address the growing need for data privacy research and development for the rapidly expanding health information technology sector. The HIPLab draws upon methodologies in computer science, biomedical science, and public policy, but also innovates novel computational techniques when the state-of-the art is insufficient. The HIPLab has functioned as a data privacy consultation service for the Electronic Medical Records and Genomics (eMERGE) network, a consortium sponsored by the National Human Genome Research Institute and National Institute of General Medical Sciences.
