Sample Information Management System

Sample Information Management

Best practices in sample management enable transparent inventory and transactional views of samples in the context of enterprise-wide governance. CBMi has partnered with CHOP's Clinical and Translational Research Center (CTRC) to develop and implement a protocol-centered view of samples in the Research Institute. Using the Nautilus LIMS platform developed by Thermo Fisher Scientific, study coordinators and sample inventory specialists can quickly locate all samples from any protocol, determine availability for assays, and validate their use based on individual protocol and principal investigator allowances, all using audited processes.
