CBMi's Innovations in Informatics talks are hour-long seminars highlighting emerging technologies that can transform how healthcare is delivered or research is performed. The talks are meant to provide a broad audience a view of the current state of the non-technical aspects of the technology, instead concentrating on issues such as adoption, organizational fit, policies, and value.
At its core, the Innovations in Informatics program seeks to show what is possible when innovation meets technology. In the past, the seminars have focused on areas like mobile health-enabled research, social networking, health- and behavior-based gaming, and other areas that are of high interest to adolescent healthcare providers.
Innovations in Informatics Talks are offered throughout the academic year. Upcoming seminars can be found on this website's events page.
